#To-do:
In the role as IT-System Engineer at KCS you can pursue your passion for IT whilst working your daily job, particularly in the following areas:
- Ensuring that our customers are provided with existing services or network monitoring and assurance system solutions in the field of ITC
- Taking responsibility for incident and change management related to the supported assurance tools (eg. Splunk)
- Conducting analysis and troubleshooting of applications and infrastructure
- Carrying out regular maintenance activities, including patch/fix installations and application upgrades
- Providing support in the design and implementation of new monitoring and assurance solutions

- A keen interest in IT, even better with hands-on experience in the field
- First experience in system&application engineering, familiarity with Unix/Linux systems- or network administration is a must; proficiency in script languages such as Python and Shell is a benefit
- The possession of certifications (Splunk, Cisco CCNA) is plus for daily work but not a must
- "Can-do" attitude with an eagerness to adopt future-proof IT solutions, such as machine learning and AI
- Proficient in English, ideally a solid understanding of German (preferably A2 level or higher)
